Description

A refreshing and creamy Cherry Vanilla Milkshake, perfect for a sweet treat or post-workout refuel.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/4 cup (about 60 ml) cold milk (whole, skim, 2%, or plant-based)
  • 3 large scoops vanilla ice cream, slightly softened
  • 1 cup pitted cherries, halved and frozen
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1 small ripe banana (optional)
  • 1 scoop unflavored or vanilla protein powder (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Pinch of cinnamon or almond extract (optional)
  • Toppings: crushed toasted almonds, chia seeds, cacao nibs, or granola (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients: Freeze cherries and chill milk for at least 30 minutes. Slightly soften the ice cream.
  2. Add cold milk to the blender first, followed by ice cream and frozen cherries. Add optional ingredients if using.
  3. Blend on low speed to break up the cherries, then ramp up to medium-high and blend for 20–30 seconds until smooth.
  4. Taste and adjust for sweetness or vanilla flavor, if necessary.
  5. Pour into chilled glasses and serve immediately.

Notes

Keep ingredients cold to maintain flavor. Avoid over-blending to preserve texture.
