Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups whole milk or half-and-half
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons instant coffee or espresso powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the whole milk or half-and-half, heavy cream, sugar, instant coffee or espresso powder, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  2. Pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container and freeze it flat for at least 24 hours.
  3. Once frozen solid, place the pint in the Ninja Creami and select the ‘Ice Cream’ setting.
  4. Optional: Add mix-ins like chocolate chips or crushed cookies after the first spin and choose ‘Re-spin’ if needed for creaminess.
  5. Scoop and enjoy your homemade coffee ice cream!

Notes

Ensure the base mixture is cooled before freezing to avoid a chunky texture. Don’t overfill the pint container and freeze it flat. Allow at least 24 hours for the mixture to freeze solid.
