Description

A creamy, dairy-free ice cream made with ripe avocados, cacao powder, and coconut milk.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large ripe avocados
  • 1 cup canned lite coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/3 cup cacao powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/8 tsp fine sea salt
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips or cacao nibs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Blend all the ingredients together in a blender or food processor until smooth.
  2. Pour the mixture into a container and freeze for 4 to 6 hours until solid.
  3. Let it sit for 10 to 20 minutes at room temperature to soften before scooping and serving.

Choose ripe avocados for the best texture. Allow ice cream to soften before scooping.
