Description
A simple and forgiving recipe for homemade vanilla ice cream using the Ninja Creami, with endless possibilities for mix-ins.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ¾ cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the whole milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until well combined, resembling a milkshake.
- Pour the mixture into the Ninja Creami pint and seal tightly.
- Freeze the pint flat for at least 24 hours.
- Once frozen, insert the pint into the Ninja Creami machine and select the ‘Ice Cream’ setting.
- If the ice cream appears crumbly, re-spin it or add a splash of milk to achieve the desired consistency.
Notes
Chill your ingredients for better freezing results. Avoid overfilling the pint, and add mix-ins only after the first spin.
