Ingredients

  • 8 ounces frozen strawberries (about 2 cups)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice (juice of 2 or 3 large lemons)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional)
  • Honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Kosher salt (optional)
  • Sparkling water (optional)
  • Lime juice (optional)
  • Ice (optional)
  • Plain yogurt or coconut cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather and measure your ingredients.
  2. Prep the lemons by rolling them to loosen juices, then juice and strain.
  3. Add ingredients to the blender in the order: water, lemon juice, sugar, followed by frozen strawberries and any optional add-ons.
  4. Blend until smooth and slushy, adjusting for texture if necessary.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness and texture as needed.
  6. Pour into chilled glasses and garnish as desired.

Notes
