Description
A refreshing homemade ice cream made with 100% pure grape juice, heavy cream, and whole milk, providing a fruity twist to a classic dessert.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups grape juice (100% pure, no added sugar)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium-sized bowl, combine the grape juice and sugar. Whisk until the sugar is fully dissolved.
- Add lemon juice and vanilla extract if using, then pour in the heavy cream and whole milk. Gently fold until well mixed.
- If using an ice cream maker, pour the mixture into it and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions for 20-30 minutes, until reaching a soft-serve consistency.
- Transfer the churned ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours to harden.
- If using the no-churn method, whip the heavy cream separately until soft peaks form, then fold into the grape juice mixture before freezing in a container for about 6 hours.
- Let the ice cream sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes before scooping. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
Chill ingredients beforehand for better texture. Adjust sugar based on the sweetness of the grape juice.
