Description

A refreshing homemade ice cream made with 100% pure grape juice, heavy cream, and whole milk, providing a fruity twist to a classic dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups grape juice (100% pure, no added sugar)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the grape juice and sugar. Whisk until the sugar is fully dissolved.
  2. Add lemon juice and vanilla extract if using, then pour in the heavy cream and whole milk. Gently fold until well mixed.
  3. If using an ice cream maker, pour the mixture into it and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions for 20-30 minutes, until reaching a soft-serve consistency.
  4. Transfer the churned ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours to harden.
  5. If using the no-churn method, whip the heavy cream separately until soft peaks form, then fold into the grape juice mixture before freezing in a container for about 6 hours.
  6. Let the ice cream sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes before scooping. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Chill ingredients beforehand for better texture. Adjust sugar based on the sweetness of the grape juice.
