Description

A rich and creamy homemade Moose Tracks ice cream loaded with peanut butter cups and thick fudge swirls.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup tiny peanut butter cups (or chopped regular ones)
  • 1 cup fudge sauce

Instructions

  1. Whisk together heavy cream, milk, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Chill for 2 hours if desired.
  2. Pour the mixture into an ice cream machine and churn until it resembles soft serve.
  3. If using the freeze-and-stir method, pour the mixture into a deep bowl and freeze for 45 minutes.
  4. Stir the mixture and return it to the freezer, repeating this every 30-45 minutes until thick.
  5. Gently fold in the peanut butter cups and add spoonfuls of fudge sauce, swirling with a knife.
  6. Freeze the ice cream until firm, then serve and enjoy!

Notes

For a more decadent version, add a warm peanut butter drizzle before freezing. Let the ice cream sit for 5 minutes before scooping for easier serving.
