Description

A refreshing twist on your morning brew, combining the bold flavor of coffee with the cool essence of mint.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup freshly-brewed strong coffee
  • 12 large fresh mint leaves, plus extra sprig for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon turbinado sugar (or desired sweetener)
  • 1 cup ice
  • Splash of cream (or milk, coconut milk, half and half, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Brew the coffee using your preferred method for a strong flavor.
  2. Muddle the mint leaves with the sugar in a shaker to release oils.
  3. Fill the shaker with ice, then pour the brewed coffee over the mint mixture. Add a splash of cream, if desired.
  4. Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to combine and chill.
  5. Transfer the iced coffee to a serving glass, adding more ice if needed, and garnish with a sprig of mint.
