Description

Indulge in the rich flavors of homemade Mocha Ice Cream, combining coffee, cocoa, and toasted almonds for a refreshing treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups Heavy Cream
  • 3 tablespoons Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 2 tablespoons Instant Coffee Powder
  • 1 1/2 cups Whole Milk
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 dash Salt
  • 1 cup Toasted Almonds (optional)
  • 1/2 cup Hot Fudge (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and toast the almonds for 8-10 minutes; cool and chop.
  2. Warm 1 cup of heavy cream in the microwave.
  3. Add cocoa and coffee powders to the warmed cream; stir until dissolved.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cocoa-coffee mixture, remaining heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, vanilla, and salt; stir until smooth.
  5. Pour the mixture into the ice cream machine and churn for 25-30 minutes.
  6. Mix in toasted almonds and churn for an additional 5 minutes.
  7. Layer the ice cream and hot fudge in a container, freeze for at least 6 hours.
