- 2 1/2 cups Heavy Cream
- 3 tablespoons Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- 2 tablespoons Instant Coffee Powder
- 1 1/2 cups Whole Milk
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 dash Salt
- 1 cup Toasted Almonds (optional)
- 1/2 cup Hot Fudge (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and toast the almonds for 8-10 minutes; cool and chop.
- Warm 1 cup of heavy cream in the microwave.
- Add cocoa and coffee powders to the warmed cream; stir until dissolved.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cocoa-coffee mixture, remaining heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, vanilla, and salt; stir until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into the ice cream machine and churn for 25-30 minutes.
- Mix in toasted almonds and churn for an additional 5 minutes.
- Layer the ice cream and hot fudge in a container, freeze for at least 6 hours.
