Description

A refreshing and easy-to-make sorbet that captures the bright flavors of blueberries and lemon, perfect for summer desserts.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3/4 cup sugar or honey (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Combine blueberries, lemon juice, water, and sweetener in a blender. Blend until smooth, with some small bits remaining.
  2. Pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami pint, tap gently to settle, and freeze flat for 24 hours.
  3. After freezing, remove the lid and twist the pint into the Ninja Creami.
  4. Use the sorbet function to process the mixture, re-spinning if necessary for a smoother texture.
  5. Serve immediately or freeze for later enjoyment.

Notes

For a variation, lime juice can be substituted for lemon; frozen blueberries can also be used. This recipe is naturally dairy-free and can be customized with other berries.
