- 1 Cup Fresh Lemon Juice (from about 4–6 lemons)
- 1 Tablespoon Lemon Zest
- 3/4 Cup Granulated Sugar or sweetener of choice
- 1 Cup Water
- Fresh Mint Leaves (optional)
- Additional Citrus (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Lemon Mixture: Squeeze lemons to obtain 1 cup of juice. Zest one lemon and combine the juice, zest, water, and sweetener in a bowl until sugar dissolves.
- Freeze the Mixture: Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container and freeze for 1 to 2 hours until firm but not completely frozen.
- Blend in Ninja Creami: Transfer the partially frozen mixture into the Ninja Creami blending container.
- Blend and Serve: Use the sorbet setting on the Ninja Creami to blend until smooth and creamy. Serve immediately, garnished with lemon zest or mint.
Notes
For a more complex flavor, consider incorporating a splash of orange or lime juice. Adjust sweetness based on your preference.
