Description

A refreshing and tangy homemade lemon sorbet made with fresh lemon juice, zest, and sugar, perfect for warm days.


Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Fresh Lemon Juice (from about 46 lemons)
  • 1 Tablespoon Lemon Zest
  • 3/4 Cup Granulated Sugar or sweetener of choice
  • 1 Cup Water
  • Fresh Mint Leaves (optional)
  • Additional Citrus (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Lemon Mixture: Squeeze lemons to obtain 1 cup of juice. Zest one lemon and combine the juice, zest, water, and sweetener in a bowl until sugar dissolves.
  2. Freeze the Mixture: Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container and freeze for 1 to 2 hours until firm but not completely frozen.
  3. Blend in Ninja Creami: Transfer the partially frozen mixture into the Ninja Creami blending container.
  4. Blend and Serve: Use the sorbet setting on the Ninja Creami to blend until smooth and creamy. Serve immediately, garnished with lemon zest or mint.

Notes

For a more complex flavor, consider incorporating a splash of orange or lime juice. Adjust sweetness based on your preference.
