Ingredients
Scale
- 2 tablespoons (30g) cream cheese (regular, vegan, or low-fat)
- 1/2 cup (120ml) heavy cream
- 1 1/2 cups (360ml) whole milk (or almond, oat, or non-fat milk)
- 1/3 cup (65g) granulated sugar (or allulose, stevia)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, heavy cream, milk, sugar, and vanilla extract.
- Whisk until the mixture is smooth and the sugar is fully dissolved.
- Pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container and secure the lid.
- Freeze the container upright for at least 24 hours until solid.
- After freezing, remove the lid and place the container into the Ninja Creami machine.
- Process using the ‘Ice Cream’ function. If the texture is crumbly, use the ‘Re-spin’ function until the desired consistency is achieved.
- For added flavors or mix-ins, create a well in the center of the ice cream, add the mix-ins, and use the ‘Mix-in’ function to combine.
Notes
- Ensure the base is completely frozen for 24 hours before processing to achieve the best texture.
- For a dairy-free version, substitute cream and milk with coconut cream and almond or oat milk.
- Adjust sweetness to taste, especially when using alternative sweeteners.
- Use the ‘Re-spin’ function if the ice cream is too firm or crumbly after the first spin.
