- 1 cup milk (any kind: whole, skim, or plant-based)
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- Whipped cream for topping (optional)
- A cinnamon stick for garnish (optional)
- A few mini chocolate chips or shaved chocolate (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- A sprinkle of toasted nutmeg or extra cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
- In a large pitcher, combine 3 cups eggnog and 1 cup milk. Add 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg. Stir until blended.
- Check the mixture capacity for the Ninja Slushi machine, split into two batches if necessary.
- Pour the mixture into the Ninja Slushi bowl, cleaning any drips for easy cleanup.
- Turn on the machine and select the ‘Spiked Slush’ setting.
- Let the machine run the full cycle, checking texture afterward. Adjust by running another cycle or adding milk as needed.
- Serve the slushy from the spout into cups and add optional toppings.
- Repeat for multiple batches and store leftovers in a covered container in the freezer.
Notes
This recipe is forgiving with measurements and can be made ahead of time. Use refrigerated store-bought eggnog to save time. Adjust spices based on preference.
