Description

A cozy and festive beverage that combines warm apple cider, spices, and black tea, perfect for holiday gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup of apple cider
  • ½ cup of water
  • 1 black tea bag or 1 teaspoon of loose black tea
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3 whole cloves
  • 1 star anise (optional)
  • A small piece of orange zest
  • 12 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine apple cider and water in a medium-sized saucepan.
  2. Heat the mixture over medium heat until simmering.
  3. Add the cinnamon stick, whole cloves, star anise, and orange zest.
  4. Let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes.
  5. Add black tea bag or loose tea and steep for 3 minutes.
  6. Remove tea bag or strain the loose tea, and sweeten to taste with honey or maple syrup.
  7. Strain the tea into mugs, garnishing with additional spices or fruit slices if desired.
  8. Sip and enjoy your cozy drink!

Notes

This tea can be easily customized with different spices or sweeteners. It’s best enjoyed fresh but can be reheated if made in advance.
