Description

A warm and inviting beverage combining black tea with fragrant spices and fresh orange juice, perfect for cozy moments.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 black tea bag
  • ½ cup of fresh orange juice
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3 to 4 whole cloves
  • 1 star anise (optional)
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons of honey (optional)
  • Fresh orange slices for garnish (optional)
  • An extra cinnamon stick for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil the Water: Pour 1 cup of fresh water into a small saucepan and bring it to a rolling boil over medium heat.
  2. Add the Spices: Add the cinnamon stick and whole cloves to the boiling water. If using, add the star anise, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Infuse the Tea: Add the black tea bag and steep for another 3 minutes.
  4. Incorporate the Orange Juice: Add the ½ cup of orange juice to the brewed tea.
  5. Strain and Sweeten: Pour the tea through a fine-mesh strainer into a mug. Sweeten with honey to taste.
  6. Garnish and Enjoy: Garnish with a slice of fresh orange and an extra cinnamon stick, if desired, and sip slowly.
