Ingredients

  • Granulated Sugar (½ cup)
  • Water (½ cup)
  • Vanilla Bean Paste or Vanilla Extract (½ tablespoon)
  • Espresso or Strong Coffee (3 ounces or 2 shots)

  • Ice
  • Optional: Whipped Cream, Chocolate Drizzle, Flavored Syrups

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the sugar and water over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Once dissolved, remove from heat and stir in the vanilla bean paste or extract.
  3. Let the syrup cool or use it right away.
  4. Brew espresso or strong coffee and pour it into a drinking glass.
  5. Add the vanilla syrup and stir well.
  6. Fill the glass with ice.
  7. Pour in your choice of milk and stir to combine.
  8. Enjoy your homemade vanilla iced latte!

Notes

Consider pre-making vanilla syrup to save time for future lattes. Use a milk frother for an extra creamy texture.
