Description

A cozy and luxurious drink made with creamy white chocolate and fresh raspberry purée, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup raspberry purée
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Whipped cream for garnish (optional)
  • Fresh raspberries for garnish (optional)
  • A pinch of sea salt (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract (optional)
  • A small pinch of ground ginger or cinnamon (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Lemon zest (optional)
  • Crushed cookies or biscuits for the rim (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the raspberry purée by blending 1 cup of fresh or frozen raspberries with 1 to 2 tablespoons of water until smooth. Strain if desired.
  2. Gather your whole milk, white chocolate chips, and vanilla extract for easy access.
  3. In a medium saucepan, gently heat the milk over medium-low heat until it reaches about 170°F (77°C), stirring slowly.
  4. Add the white chocolate chips to the warm milk and stir until they are fully melted and the mixture is smooth.
  5. Stir in the raspberry purée and vanilla extract. Adjust sweetness with honey or maple syrup if needed.
  6. Heat the mixture for an additional 1–2 minutes while stirring occasionally.
  7. Pour the white hot chocolate into cups, top with whipped cream, garnish with fresh raspberries, and enjoy!

Notes

You can substitute lower-fat milk or dairy alternatives if desired, and customize the sweetness and garnishes to your liking.
