- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1–2 teaspoons matcha green tea powder
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- 1 banana
- 1 tablespoon protein powder or collagen
- A handful of ice cubes
- Optional: whipped coconut cream for topping
Instructions
- In a high-powered blender, add almond milk, matcha powder, protein powder, honey, banana, and ice cubes.
- Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy. Adjust thickness with more ice if desired.
- Taste and adjust sweetness, blending again if necessary.
- Pour into a tall glass and optionally top with whipped coconut cream.
- Garnish with matcha powder or chocolate shavings if desired.
Notes
Start with one teaspoon of matcha if you’re new to the flavor to avoid bitterness. Using crushed ice leads to a smoother texture.
