A refreshing drink combining fresh mango puree with matcha green tea, perfect for hot summer days.
Ingredients

- 10 ounces ice cubes (divided)
- ¾ cup cold drinking water
- 1 cup fresh mango cubes (about 1–2 mangoes)
- ¼ cup plus 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon matcha (green tea powder)
- ¼ cup hot water (175˚F / 80˚C)
- 1½ cups cold drinking water
- Optional: Coconut milk or almond milk, mint leaves, chia seeds
Instructions
- Prepare the cold drinking water a few hours in advance.
- Blend the mangoes with some cold water and sugar until smooth.
- Strain the resulting puree to ensure it’s silky and luscious.
- Whisk the matcha powder with hot water until lump-free.
- Add the cold water to create a refreshing matcha base.
- Layer the mango puree into serving glasses.
- Add ice and top it off with the matcha.
Notes
Make sure to properly strain the mango puree for a smooth texture. Avoid adding too much water to maintain flavor potency.
