A healthier version of the nostalgic mint chocolate chip ice cream packed with protein and flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup skim milk Fairlife
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tablespoon Jell-O vanilla pudding mix
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1 crushed candy cane
  • Dark chocolate chips (optional)
  • Chopped nuts (optional)
  • Cocoa powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients: Start by measuring out each ingredient accurately for the best results.
  2. Mix it up: In a Ninja Creami container, combine all ingredients and mix well using a hand frother until fully combined.
  3. Freeze: Place the container in your freezer for 24 hours until completely frozen.
  4. Process in Ninja Creami: Run the container under hot water for about 60 seconds and process in your Ninja Creami.
  5. Spin time: Press the Lite Ice Cream button, and if the texture is powdery, return it to the machine and hit the Respin button.
  6. Add minty crunch: Make a small hole in the center of the ice cream, add the crushed candy cane, and mix it in using the Mix-in button.
  7. Serve and enjoy: Scoop out your mint chocolate protein ice cream and taste the refreshing flavor!
