Description

Enjoy a refreshing Watermelon Mojito with sweet watermelon, mint, and lime, perfect for summer evenings.


Ingredients

  • ½ personal sized watermelon
  • 9 fresh mint leaves
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice (about limes)
  • ½ tablespoon sugar
  • 2 ounces light rum
  • 5 ice cubes
  • Additional mint leaves for garnish (optional)
  • Slices of lime (optional)
  • Sparkling water (optional)

Instructions

  1. Use a melon baller or small cookie scoop to create melon balls from the watermelon and set aside.
  2. Scoop out approximately 9 ounces of watermelon flesh and remove all seeds.
  3. Transfer the watermelon flesh to a blender, add mint leaves, lime juice, and sugar, then blend until smooth.
  4. Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness or acidity as needed.
  5. Add light rum and blend briefly to combine.
  6. Toss in ice cubes and melon balls into the hollowed watermelon.
  7. Pour the blended mojito mix into the hollow watermelon and serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, serve chilled. Garnishing with mint and lime adds visual appeal.
